Why join the DAR?
If you would like the opportunity to participate in programs and projects in the community for students and service to veterans, then this is the organization for you.
The Kikthawenund Chapter, NSDAR, welcomes women 18 years of age or older who are able to prove lineal, bloodline descent from a Patriot. An American Revolutionary War Patriot may include someone who served in the American military or who gave their time, resources, or services in the fight for independence.
If you are unsure of where to begin, we can help. We will walk you through the application process, including genealogical research. Our registrar is willing to assist you and answer any questions that you may have.
Visitors are welcome at all meetings. Come meet us and learn more about our chapter and what we do. Please send us an email about attending a meeting or complete the membership interest form.
